Abstract
Abstract 312,932. Neumann, F. May 31, 1929. [A Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, June 3, 1929]. Wire resistances, enclosed; cored. -High temperature metallic heating resistances are wound on a core 2 in a casing 3 which can be evacuated or filled with an inert gas, the core and casing comprising a difficultly fusible ceramic material such as that composed of a high percentage of aluminium oxide fusible at 2050‹ C. and without measurable vapour pressure up to 1500‹ C.
