Abstract
Abstract 256,191. Ferrand, G. A. Aug. 3, 1925, [Convention date]. Metal pipes. - A pipe constructed to withstand heavy internal pressure and formed of steel or electrolytic iron, has its wall corrugated as shown and reinforced by hoops positioned in the corrugations. The pipe can thus be comparatively thin walled and has considerable longitudinal resiliency and avoids the necessity for using expansion joints. A smooth sheet metal lining may be fitted within the pipe.
