Electric stoves.-An electric toaster has switch means of the knife or plunger type, the movable member g of each switch, of which there is one to each grid, being carried by a lever h biased by a spring i to hold the switch normally in the closed position, each switch being opened by hooking a removed grid on the end of the corresponding lever. The heating elements d are arranged alternately with the grids.
