Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 12
Claim 1
Independent Claim 39 words
A biosignal electrode device comprising a flexible electrically insulating substrate having deposited thereon an electrically conductive layer forming an electrode sensor and a lead for the sensor, the portion of the substrate bearing the sensor being formed in relief.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 39 words
A biosignal electrode device comprising a flexible electrically insulating substrate having deposited thereon an electrically conductive layer forming an electrode sensor and a lead for the sensor, the portion of the substrate bearing the sensor being formed in relief.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 15 words
A device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the surface of the sensor is roughened.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 36 words
A device as claimed in claim 1 or 2, wherein the lead is deposited on the opposite surface of the substrate to the sensor and is connected to the sensor through an aperture in the substrate.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 38 words
A device as claimed in claim 1, 2 or 3, wherein the portion of the substrate which is in relief and bears the sensor is slightly recessed to form a well, and the well contains an electrolytic gel.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 24 words
A device as claimed in claim 1, 2, 3 or 4, wherein there is a plurality of sensors and associated leads on the substrate.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 32 words
A device as claimed in claim 5, wherein regions of the substrate between the sensors and leads are removed to provide fingers of substrate each bearing a sensor and its associated lead.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 21 words
A device as claimed in claim 6, wherein the sensors are backed by a flexible and stretchable band of insulating material.
Claim 9
Dependent Claim 46 words
A device as claimed in claim 1, 2, 3 or 4, wherein a portion of the substrate remote from the sensor is formed into one part of a malelfemale connector, the connector part having an electrically conductive layer thereon which is electrically connected to the lead.
Claim 10
Dependent Claim 57 words
A biosignal electrode assembly comprising a harness in the form of an electrically insulating substrate having a plurality of leads deposited thereon each terminating in one part of a malelfemale connector, and a plurality of biosignal electrode devices as claimed in claim 8 each connectable by its connector part to a respective connector part on the harness.
Claim 11
Dependent Claim 20 words
A biosignal electrode device substantially as hereinbefore described with reference to, and as illustrated in, the accompanying drawings. 1 p,
Claim 12
Dependent Claim 20 words
A biosignal electrode device substantially as hereinbefore described with reference to, and as illustrated in, the accompanying drawings. 1 p,
