Claim 3
Dependent Claim
85 words
An apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein the suturing members (16) are comprised of four divided annular members each having therein a plurality of needle receiving spaces (18) and a plurality of corresponding needle outlets (20) at its 35 inner circumference as well as a plurality of pushing members (24) slidably inserted thereinto from its outer circumference, and four operating members (26) corresponding to the suturing members (16) are arranged so as to slidably hold the outer edges of the 40 pushing members (24).
Claim 4
Dependent Claim
23 words
An apparatus as claimed in claim 1 or 2, wherein the needle receiving spaces (18) are arranged doubly within each suturing member (16).
Claim 5
Dependent Claim
71 words
An apparatus as claimed in claim 2 or 3, 45 wherein the pushing member (24) has an elongated hole (50) into which is inserted a pin (52) for slidably attaching the pushing member (24) to the suturing member (16), and the outer edges of the pushing member (24) are bent to form the bent parts (54) 50 which are slidably fitted into a dovetail groove (56) of the operating member (26).
Claim 6
Dependent Claim
75 words
An apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein the actuating bar (28) is pivoted at its other end to projected pieces (30) of the supporting member (10) 55 by a pin (32) and projections (36,38) adjacent to the pivoted part of the actuating bar (28) are fitted into a slit (34) provided atone side of the supporting member (10) for radially moving the actuating bar (28) through a mechanism within the supporting 60 member (10).
Claim 7
Dependent Claim
88 words
An apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein the adjusting member (44) for moving the actuating bars (28) is comprised of a knob (44) provided at the other end of the supporting member (10), a threaded 65 shaft (42) connected to the knob (44) and extended within the hollow supporting member (10), and a moving member (40) screwed onto the threaded shaft (42) and located between the projections (36, 38) of the actuating bar (28), which are fitted into the 70 slit (34) of the supporting member (10).
Claim 8
Dependent Claim
29 words
An apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein the needle (22) is made from a single untwisted and unstranded stainless steel wire in a shape of stapler needle. 75
Claim 9
Dependent Claim
