Abstract 9799. Hansen, E. A. April 25. Casings.-In a centrifugal pump suitable for dealing with milk, means are provided for preventing the formation of froth. An air-vent d connects the interior of the casing a with the atmosphere. In a modification, a stuffing-box is provided, and the air-vent is formed as a passage in the shaft.
