Abstract 24,791. Francis, A. B. Nov. 11, Tonsilotomes and like instruments. - A frame a with a ring-shaped part b has pivoted to it scissor blades c, d, the tail ends of which are connected by rods e, f to links h, i pivoted on the handles j, k, the movement of the handles thus operating the blades. Grooves are provided for the joint-pins m to work in, and other grooves n are sometimes formed to receive pins o so as to limit the movements of the blades.
