Abstract

Abstract 15,259. Johnson, H. June 25. Stoppers.-The stopper comprises two discs B, C, adapted to be drawn together by means of the bolt G and nut H, and a hollow elastic ring D inserted in a groove C' between the discs. When the stopper is inserted, the discs are drawn together by rotating the nut H, so as to compress the washer D and force it outward into the groove E<2> in the neck. The neck is also formed with a stop shoulder E', which engages the flange C<2> on the disc C to limit the insertion of the stopper.
