Abstract 5318. Gooch, G. F. Feb. 27. Obstetric appliances.-An embryotomy or parturition instrument for the use of veterinary surgeons consists of a pair of cutting-jaws or grippers B, pivoted to a frame K and actuated by a rod A, the screwed end of which engages with a socket E connected with the jaws by means of links. Longitudinal movement of the rod A is prevented by a set-screw F projecting into a groove H.
