Abstract 1480724 Two part couplings PRESSAC Ltd 15 Aug 1974 [21 May 1973] 24060/73 Heading H2E A socket contact for mating with a blade (not shown) comprises two bent limbs attached to a common spine 4 to which a cable may be attached, for example by crimping or soldering. A bank of contacts may each be mounted in a cavity in body 6, the rounded portions 1 being located behind the mouth 7a through which the blade enters. The contact is secured by latches 8 engaging ledges 9.
