Abstract
Abstract 124,439. Grandseigne, R. H. March 11, 1918, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Act]. Nails.-A nail for use with wood, plaster, &c. has a cylindrical shank on one or both sides of which is a projection b. After being driven in the nail is turned by means of a groove d in the head, or by a spanner applied to an angular head, so that the projections are embedded in the material. A circular bead may be formed round the shank at the base of the projection to enable the nail to be more readily turned. The projection may be replaced by a small portion of a screw-thread.
