Improvements in Means for Storing, Displaying and Advertising.

Contents, delivering and facilitating access to; boxes combined with mirrors and display fittings; contents, viewing; fittings, external; match-box holders.-Articles for sale or delivery are stored, displayed and advertised in a hollow magazine 1, Fig. 1, attached to a foot 4 and containing a spring-pressed carrier 8, Fig. 7, on which the articles rest and by which they are pushed upwards so as to bring the top article into position for removal. This article is removed through a slot 9, and an opening 17 may be provided at the rear for pushing out the article. The carrier 8 has a flange 8<b> deeper than the slot 9. A fixed or adjustable head 10 keeps the top article in position, and this head may be surmounted by a frame 14, 15, Fig. 9, for containing a box 13, or by a display fitting 29, Fig. 1, which may be combined with a mirror. The magazine 1 may be pivoted on trunnions 24, Fig. 3, and may have a removable bottom cap 2. A slot 33 for viewing the interior may also be provided, and the bent over edges of this slot may serve to hold the edges of a sheet of paper bearing advertisements &c. extending round the magazine 1. A projection 8<a> on the carrier 8 extends through the slot 9, and a scale 32 may be arranged on one side of the slot 33.
