Method and device for treating a biological tissue
Abstract
Abstract According to the method, the part of the tissue to be treated is subjected both to an electric field and electromagnetic radiation, in particular laser radiation. The electric field is for example created by pulses with variable duration, frequency, mark-space ratio and amplitude, for example static activation pulses with durations from 1 mu s to 1 s and modulation frequencies with constant ratio from 5 to 1000 Hz, while the laser radiation may have a power between 1 and 25 mW. The means suitable for applying the electromagnetic radiation may for example include a support element 1 made of an insulating material and having a central hole 8. Two blocks/electrodes 2 and 3 are fixed under the support on either side of the hole 8, while a case 5 is mounted removably in the top of the support 1. The case 5 contains a laser diode 7 disposed opposite the hole 8. The electrodes 2 and 3 and the diode 7 are connected to suitable electrical means by wires 10 to 12. Application to cosmetics.
