Abstract
Abstract Filter intended to be implanted in the blood circulation system to retain clots. The filter 11 of the invention is characterised in that it consists of a single-block component made of a thin sheet of a material of appropriate elasticity and having a conical overall shape with a number of flaps 2 joined together at their head, forming ogival points 4 of the filter and gradually diverging towards their other end. The invention applies especially to filters intended to be implanted in veins for the purpose of preventing embolisms.
