Elle consiste à mesurer par une méthode de zéro l'influence de l'effet Faraday du champ à mesurer sur un faisceau d'énergie rayonnée se propageant de manière guidée dans une couche mince de matériau magnétique. Elle permet de construire des magnétomètres sensibles et robustes. The invention relates to apparatus for measuring magnetic fields and which are also known as magnetometers. It consists in measuring by a zero method the influence of the Faraday effect of the field to be measured on a beam of radiated energy propagating in a guided manner in a thin layer of magnetic material. It allows to build sensitive and robust magnetometers.
