Abstract

Abstract The device is designed to mix, just before use, two substances contained in separate flasks, in particular pulverised or colloidal products. An open ended rectangular tube (10) has four prolongations (16) at each side, in the form of angles. A central wall (18) has a slot (20) into which the puncturing needles (24, 26), joined centrally by a plate (28), are located. To mix two substances the flasks are placed in rectangular cases which are slightly wider than the tube. These cases are then slid over each end of the tube and pushed together until the needles puncture the caps of the flasks allowing mixing to take place.
