Suppository applicator - simple and hygienic to use

Abstract

Abstract A suppository application consists of a main tube in which slides a tube fitted with a piston-pusher, and over which is put a guide tube. The suppository is placed in the guide tube, which passes the anal sphincter. It has a shoulder limiting penetration. The piston pusher tube can accept pieces of different sizes and the main tube can accept guides of different sizes. The applicator is for use partic. in hospitals, clinics, day-nurseries, lying-in hospitals and in private homes. The appts. is easier to use and more hygienic than existing appts. Only the guide tube is in contact with the mucous membrane, making cleaning easy.
