Abstract
Abstract An external groove (2) extends for part of the way along the outside, and communicates with one or more internal passages (1), typically via an orifice (6). The cross-section of the groove can be constant for its entire length, opening at the end, and with its edges radiused. The grooved surface can comprise between a quarter and three-quarters of the external surface, between three and six grooves. One or more grooves can communicate with the internal passage by a notch at the end. It can be made of silicon elastomer, with a protective coating.
