Stent, position's element and delivery catheter
Abstract
A stent for transluminal implantation in hollow organs, in particular in blood vessels, urogenital tract, gastrointestinal tract, iatrogenic shunt, pulmonary indications or biliary tract, is described. The stent has an essentially tubular base body which can be converted from a compressed state with a minimal cross-sectional diameter to an expanded state with an enlarged cross-sectional diameter. At least at one end of the base body, a plurality of holding elements are formed distributed in the circumferential direction, each of which has a connecting section extending from the end of the base body and a holding section adjoining it. Each holding section has a greater width in the circumferential direction than its connecting section. In the compressed state of the stent, a free space is formed in each case between holding sections arranged adjacent in the circumferential direction. Furthermore, a positioning element for such a stent and an insertion catheter are described.
