Abstract

Abstract Disclosed is a treatment accessory (100) for an endoscope. A treatment unit, for example, a grasping unit (5) is connected at a distal end of a manipulation wire (33) that is connected to a first manipulation member (20). Surrounding the manipulation wire (33), an inner tube (32) is slidably provided. A proximal end of the inner tube (32) is connected to a proximal end of a second manipulation member (10). Further, an outer tube (31) is provide to surround the inner tube (32) and the manipulation wire (33). A proximal end of the outer tube (31) is connected to the first manipulation member (20) so that the positional relationship between the manipulation wire (33) and the outer tube (31) along the axis is fixed. By moving the first and second manipulation members (20,10) to approach, the grasping unit (5) is closed as the inner tube (32) slides to cover a part of the grasping unit (5), while when the first and second manipulation members (20,10) are apart from each other, the grasping unit (5) opens by resilience.

Claim 1
Independent Claim 235 words
A treatment accessory for an endoscope, comprising: an instrument unit having an open state and a closed state, said instrument unit being neutrally in said open state by a resilient force thereof; a first manipulation part; a second manipulation part movable in relation to said first manipulation part; a flexible outer tube, a proximal end of said flexible outer tube connected to said second manipulation part, said flexible outer tube inserted in an instrument channel of said endoscope when in use; a manipulation wire, a proximal end of said manipulation wire fixed in position with respect to said outer tube, a distal end of said manipulation wire connected to said instrument unit; a flexible inner tube slidably inserted in said flexible outer tube, said flexible inner tube slidably surrounding said manipulation wire, a proximal end of said flexible inner tube connected to said first manipulation part, wherein, when said first manipulation part is located at a position closest to said second manipulation part, said flexible inner tube surrounds a portion of said instrument unit adjacent to said distal end of said manipulation wire to close said instrument unit, and when said first manipulation part is located at a position farthest from said second manipulation part, said flexible inner tube does not cover said portion of said instrument unit adjacent to said distal end of said manipulation wire and said instrument unit is open by resilience.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 53 words
The treatment accessory according to claim 1, wherein said first manipulation part is provided with a first finger support, said second manipulation part is provided with a second finger support, and said first manipulation part moves towards said second manipulation part when said first finger support is moved towards said second finger support.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 119 words
A treatment accessory for an endoscope, comprising: a treatment unit; an inner tube; an outer tube coaxially proved around said inner tube; a manipulation wire slidably inserted in said inner tube, a distal end of said manipulation wire attached to said treatment unit; a first manipulation part connected to a proximal end of said manipulation wire; a second manipulation part connected to a proximal end of said inner tube; a main body connected to a proximal end of said outer tube; a connecting member connecting said first manipulation part and said main body, said connecting member arranged displaced from and parallel to an axis of said manipulating wire, wherein said second manipulation part is slidable along said connecting member.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 25 words
The treatment accessory according to claim 3, wherein said connecting member is detachable from one of said first manipulation part and said second manipulation part.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 20 words
The treatment accessory according to claim 3 or 4, wherein said manipulation wire is detachable from said first manipulation part.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 20 words
The treatment accessory according to one of claims 3 to 5, wherein said treatment instrument is formed to resiliently open.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 36 words
The treatment accessory according to claim 6, wherein said treatment instrument is closed when said inner tube is slid to cover a portion of said treatment unit adjacent to said distal end of said manipulation wire.
