Abstract
Abstract A flexible endoscope tube which consists of short, tubular elements (10) which are connected to each other in the longitudinal direction of the tube by swivelling members 14, 16 and can be controlled by means of one or more tension ropes (44) which run along the tube. The swivelling members (14, 16) and tension ropes (44) are in this case arranged in the region of each tubular element (10) inside the wall thickness of the element. <IMAGE>
