Tissue punch
Abstract
Abstract The tissue punch comprises an external shaft (4) and an internal shaft (3), on the distal end of which there is an opening (2) with a blade (5) which cooperates with a counter-blade (6) at the distal end of the external shaft (4) in such a way that tissue which projects through said opening (2) into the internal shaft (3) on actuation of the tissue punch is severed off by the blades (5, 6) which are moved toward one another. The internal shaft (3) is rigid and changes distally from a proximally straight course into a curved course. The external shaft (4) which can be axially moved on the internal shaft (3) can be deformed at least in the region of the curvature of the internal shaft. <IMAGE>
