Abstract
Abstract The medical device is intended for manipulation of a thread present inside a body, especially a body cavity. It has a shaft (2) having a handle (1) on the proximal shaft end and two thread receptacles (5, 6) on the distal shaft end (4). Each thread receptacle (5, 6) is formed by an open guide surrounding the thread at least partially, and this guide may be made of wire. The reception openings of the two thread receptacles (5, 6) are arranged in opposite directions, so that the instrument can be used to pull and push the thread. <IMAGE>
