Abstract
Abstract The device is provided with two patches each composed of a fabric sheet extended over a resilient flexible annular frame. The two patches are arranged face-to-face with a gap between them and concentrically stitched to each other at a position slightly inward the outer peripher of each patch. By drawing a thread appearing on one of the patches, both patches are brought closer to each other. @(33pp Dwg.No.2/37)@.

Claims Analysis
Total Claims: 4
Claim 1
Independent Claim
72 words
A device for nonoperatively occluding a defect characterized by that a pair of patches each comprising a flexible, foldable annular frame and a piece of cloth stretched over and fixed to the frame are arranged so as to face each other and sewed together by a thread in such a manner that as the thread led out of one of the patches is drawn, the patches are moved to approach each other.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim
39 words
The device for nonoperatively occluding a defect described in claim 1 and characterized by that the two patches are sewed with the thread along a coaxial circle a little inward of the circumferential edge of each of the patches.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim
38 words
The device for nonoperatively occluding a defect described in claim 1 and characterized by that the end portion of the thread for sewing the patches together is led out of the central portion of one of the patches.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim
63 words
The device for nonoperatively occluding a defect described in claim 1 and characterized by that shrink-preventing members are provided on that surface of one of the patches which faces the surface of the other of the patches so as to extend from a position a little inward of the outer circumferential edge of the one patch to a position near the center thereof.
