Abstract
Abstract An organ manipulator (1) is used for freeing an organ which is located in a body cavity of a living being and is to be examined or treated. The manipulator comprises a spreading element (8) consisting of a multi-articulation lever system with articulated arms (9, 10, 11, 12) which are connected to one another in a pivotably moveable manner and which can be converted from a stretched-out state, for introduction into the body cavity, into a spread-open state, the articulated arms (9, 10, 11, 12) being converted into a flat triangular formation. <IMAGE>
