Abstract

Abstract Arranged in a housing (5) is a rubber-elastic sealing element (7), which is supported at the front and at the back on bevelled surfaces (8, 8'). A break-through (20) for guiding a catheter through in a pressure-tight manner has, in the centre, a narrowed area (11) which surrounds the catheter. The sealing element (7) is tight even in the case of widely varying catheter diameters, and it permits an easy movement of the catheter. <IMAGE>
