Abstract Translated from German Vorrichtung zum Oeffnen von verengten oder verschlossenen Blutgefässen mit einem schlauchförmigen flexiblen Katheter (1), einem an dessen distalem Ende (2) angebrachten Bohrkopf (5) mit einem drehbaren Bohrwerkzeug (4) und mit Mitteln (7) zum zeitweiligen Verschliessen des Gefässes. Im Inneren des Katheters ist eine Welle (8) zum Antrieb des Bohrwerkzeugs und an seinem proximalen Ende (3) eine Antriebs- und Anschlusseinheit für den Antrieb der Welle und das Absaugen von abgetragenem Material angeordnet.
