Abstract

The syringe support and handling device comprises a handle (1), a support portion (2), two parallel guide rods (3) rigidly connecting the handle and the support portion, and a gripping member ( 10) mounted sliding axially between the two guide rods and rotating on itself around its central axis. A fixing plate (7) having a central orifice is mounted movable parallel to the upper surface of the support plate (4) and is subjected to the action of springs (8) tending to keep this fixing plate in contact with said support plate so that in the operating position the peripheral rim (13 ') of the cylindrical body (13) of the syringe is held by clamping between the fixing plate and the support plate. Finally, the gripping member has coupling openings (11, 11 ') cooperating in the service position with the upper end (14') of the piston (14) of the syringe.
