The invention relates to biodegradable poly (hydroxyalkyl) aminodicarboxylic acid derivatives of the formula I <IMAGE> in which n, m, x, y, z, R and R 'have the meanings given and a process for their preparation and their use for depot preparations with controlled addition of active ingredients.
