Abstract
Abstract The apparatus comprises at least one laser (2) capable of emitting an infrared radiation beam, and means (4) for effecting a scanning of the said beam. It additionally comprises means (5, 10) for shaping the infrared radiation beam in the form of an essentially plane beam, the scanning means are arranged to effect an alternating scanning of the beam in a direction essentially perpendicular to its plane, and the said laser is a continuous emission laser. <IMAGE>
