Abstract Translated from German Die innere Oberfläche einer die Wand eines künstlichen Gefässes bildenden mikroporösen Kunststoff-Membran (1) ist durch Füllen der Mikroporen (2) mit einem wässrigen Gel (4) so weit geglättet, dass eine geschlossene zusammenhängende Monoschicht (3) aus Endothel-Zellen wachsen kann. The inner surface of a microporous plastic membrane (1) forming the wall of an artificial vessel is smoothed by filling the micropores (2) with an aqueous gel (4) to such an extent that a closed coherent monolayer (3) can grow from endothelial cells .
