Abstract
Abstract A confluent layer of cells intended to colonise collagen is produced and this confluent cell layer is placed in contact with a sheet of collagen in the presence of an appropriate medium, after which the cells are allowed to colonise at least part of the said sheet and to cause a shrinkage of the sheet in thickness alone. Application to the preparation of equivalent dermis and to virus cultivation.
