Abstract Translated from German 3-Desmethyl-mevalonsäurederivate der Formel I (δ-Lacton) bzw. la (entsprechendes Dihydroxycarbonsäurederivat) worin A-B, Z, R 1 , R 2 , R 3 und R 4 die angegebenen Bedeutungen haben, Verfahren zur Herstellung dieser Verbindungen, ihre Verwendung als Arzneimittel und pharmazeutische Präparate werden beschrieben. Außerdem werden neue Zwischenprodukte für die Herstellung der Verbindungen der Formel I bzw.
