Abstract Translated from French Prothèse totale de hanche à fixation primaire, constituée de trois parties principales: - une tige fémorale (1) filetée (5), destinée à être vissée dans le fémur; - une cupule cotyloïdienne (32), destinée à s'engager dans la cavité cotyoïdienne de la hanche considérée; - un col prothétique (17) coiffé d'une sphère (21) reliant la tête (15) de la tige (1) et la cupule (32) destinée à assurer l'articulation proprement dite, caractérisée en ce que la tige fémorale (1) filetée (5) présente une section longitudinale effilée en forme de tulipe évasée depuis la pointe (3) jusqu' à la tête (2), à rayon variable.
