Abstract

A connecting device according to the invention for connecting a cannula to a transfer tube for the continuous introduction of a liquid, in particular insulin, into a patient is characterized in that an open hollow connector (12) is connected to the distal end of the cannula in the form of a flexible short catheter (1) which can be releasably connected to an axially pierced extension (17) of the transfer hose (16), that a pierceable membrane (15) made of elastic material is arranged in the hollow connector (12) and that on the extension (17) of the transfer hose (16) a steel cannula (19) is attached, which protrudes a bit with its pointed end over the end face of the extension (17) and pierces the membrane (15). In this way, the burden on the patient when removing and connecting the transfer hose is reduced.
