Abstract Translated from German Ein neuer Katheter mit einem Führungsdraht (3), dessen Spitze (4) spazierstockartig gebogen ist, ermöglicht die schnelle und sichere Katheterung zentraler Venen über einen peripheren Zugang. A new catheter with a guide wire (3), the tip (4) of which is curved like a walking stick, enables the rapid and safe catheterization of central veins via a peripheral access.
