Abstract
Abstract A low frequency therapeutic device applies low frequency pulses to the body of a patient in order to effect a cure. This device detects whether the output terminal thereof for applying the low frequency pulses to the patients is in contact with the patient to automatically raise the low frequency output voltage from low to high in a gradual manner. Thus, this device reduces the shock to the patient when first applying the low frequency pulses to the patient.

Claims Analysis
Total Claims: 4
Claim 1
Independent Claim
84 words
A low frequency therapeutic instrument for applying low frequency pulses of a pulse generating circuit to a human body through a pulse output terminal, characterized in comprising a human-body detecting circuit for detecting a contact connection of the human body with said pulse output terminal and connecting said low frequency pulses of said pulse generating circuit to the pulse output terminal, and an output controlling circuit for gradually elevating the voltage of the low frequency pulses from a low voltage to a predetermined voltage.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim
Claim 3
Dependent Claim
42 words
A low frequency therapeutic instrument according to claim 1 wherein a separation of the human body from said pulse output terminal is detected so that said voltage of said low frequency pulses is reduced from said predetermined voltage to a low voltage.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim
34 words
A low frequency therapeutic instrument according to claim 1 wherein a wave form shaping circuit for shaping said pulse output wave form is provided between said pulse generating circuit and said pulse output terminal.
