Railing handrail and posts
Abstract
Abstract A railing handrail (1) is rolled as a tubular body such that, on the underside of the handrail, a longitudinally directed slot remains open in place of the tube seam. The railing posts are configured, for example, in the form of tubes (2,1) with a cupola-shaped, welded-on upper end (2,2) and a peg (2,4) which is welded therein, fits rigidly into the slot (1,1) of the railing handrail and, with a spherically rounded-off upper end (2,6) and widened portion (2,7) rounded off correspondingly on the underside, is adapted with a braced fit to the internal circumference of the railing handrail (1). Depending on requirements, the handrail can be mounted in a horizontal or inclined manner. If appropriate, the widened portion is screwed onto the peg, as a result of which additional clamping is made possible. <IMAGE>
