Handrail for railings
Abstract
Abstract In the known, in particular metal handrails for spiral staircases or parapets, there are arranged, between the straight handrail portions, special bow-type elements which either can only be fastened by welding or produce a comparatively unsteady connection which impairs the stability of the handrail. Each articulation (7) is formed from two hat-shaped articulation parts (8, 9) which can be plugged axially displaceably on two neighbouring handrail portions (6) and can be fastened thereon by clamping and can be connected to one another in an adjustable angle position via mutually interacting articulation surfaces (11, 12). Said handrail can be prefabricated and mounted easily and rapidly. The handrail is stable and has an attractive appearance. <IMAGE>
