Abstract
Abstract There is described a punching or cutting biopsy cannula with a means for coagulation at the distal end. An electrical connection can be effected on the cannula which is insulated or electrically conducting on the distal end only, or else on a special obturator which can be pushed into the cannula. The obturator is electrically insulted from the cannula and is electrically conducting on its distal end only. Cannula and obturator have a handle.
