Abstract
Abstract The invention relates to a novel balloon-tipped catheter for voiding of the bladder of patients. According to the invention, the catheter tip can be adjustably bent as a function of the filling of the balloon or of the pressure built up in the balloon and can thus be selectively directed toward the particular, desired (deepest) site in the urinary bladder which guarantees complete voiding via the suction orifices provided in the tip. <IMAGE>
