Abstract
Abstract The surgical instrument is joined to an optic fibre for endoscopic laser radiation for the treatment of bladder tumours. The endoscope used has observation optics and a sheathed optic fibre arranged in parallel to it. A rigid collar is mounted onto the application end of the optic fibre. The collar is provided with a linkage installed transversely to the fibre and movable by means of a push rod or tackle. The optic fibre (3) is guided in the sleeve (5) so that it can be slid lengthwise. A device (14) is provided at the servicing end of the endoscope (1) to slide the optic fibre lengthwise. The fibre and its sheath can he fixed in a sliding contact of the device (14).
