Abstract
Abstract The hooked scissors are particularly for surgical section, having a cutting head with blades hinging together under the effect of an actuating mechanism. One cutting edge at least is concave, with a hook point protruding in the closing direction. The blades (20, 36) have mating guide faces (52, 54) which press the cutting edges (38, 40) against each other, at least for the last part of the closing movement. These faces can be formed at the hooked tip, which can have a chamfer working against the opposite guide face (54).
