Abstract
Abstract The universal fitting wing mirror has the stalk (13) fitted to one side via a single securing bolt (22) about which the mirror can be swung to face either way. The mounting foot for the stalk is likewise on a swivel mounting for fitting to either side of the vehicle. The stalk is located on the mirror by locating studs (23) which drop into prepared holes (24, 25) in the side of the housing. The securing bolt is held in the stalk on an axially sprung mounting.
