Abstract
Abstract The arrangement measures blood flows in vessels, esp. the heart, where wall and valve movements are also measured. The device has an ultrasonic transmitter and receiver whose directions intersect at the bood measurement point. The system has two ultrasonic receivers each with a Doppler frequency measuring device. One single, continuously emitting transmitter (1) is provided, and both Doppler frequency measuring devices (9, 9a) are connected to the ultrasonic transmitter or to the generator (10) supplying it.
