Abstract
Abstract The surgical instrument is designed to be to be for hand usage having twin washing arms which are connected together in a hinged manner and which operate counter to one another in a scissor, plier or similar action. It is constructed in such a way that pneumatic or hydraulic action devices are provided by means of which the twin working or moving arms of the device may be activated and controlled. A unit is provided in the instrument handle to convert the hydraulic or pneumatic energy into a form suitable for movement of the working arms.
