Abstract

Abstract The organ or organ section or part to be implanted is made by mixing human, animal or synthetic albumin or a protein with the blood of the patient, plasticising the mixture, shaping it as desired, hardening it and finally drying it when hardened. A mixture of 10-80% albumin and 80-10% blood (of the same blood gp. if not taken from the patient) is suitable and a 2-20% HCHO soln. is used as hardener. If desired, the above albumin/blood composition may be coated onto an organ or organ part made of any other material, and hardened and dried as before.
