Abstract
Abstract Electric safety circuit for an endoscope with an automatic photographic illumination device has a photographic element connected pref. via an amplifier with an integration circuit to which a Schmitt-circuit is attached. An adjustment circle disconnects after a predetermined time the light source for the illumination of the object after releasing the shutter of the photographic device. The device prevents injury to the patient being examined, by overheating of the tissue when the light source is connected for too long during the taking of the photograph.
