Abstract
Abstract This syringe comprises an ultrathin needle (2), a capsule (3) filled with a liquid (5) and closed by a stopper (4), a rod (7) with a bearing head (7a) which pushes the stopper (4) forward in the capsule, this rod advancing by a screw mechanism (7b) driven by a nut (8), itself actuated at its periphery by gearing (8a, 12a) which is driven by the shaft (14) of a dental micromotor (18). This syringe makes it possible to perform localised injections, by which it is possible for example to anaesthetise only one tooth of a patient. <IMAGE>
