Abstract
Abstract Pharmaceutical composition for long-term oral or parenteral administration and adapted to slowly release the pharmaceutically active substance, comprising a therapeutically-active amount of a pharmaceutically-active substance homogeneously mixed with at least 20% by weight of poly-D(-)-3-hydroxybutyric acid relative to the amount of active substance; a process for preparing such composition in compressed form and a process for the long-term administration of such composition.
